Customer Service Coordinator *Employment Type:* Seasonal / Contract-to-Hire Opportunity
*Experience Level:* Entry Level *Department:* Customer Service & Operations Support Position Overview We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused *Customer Service Coordinator* to support sales, distribution, and customer service operations for a growing manufacturing and distribution team. This role is responsible for coordinating customer orders, managing inventory information, supporting demand planning activities, and ensuring customers receive exceptional service throughout the order fulfillment process. This position offers valuable exposure to customer service, supply chain operations, logistics, and sales support. During peak business periods, team members play a critical role in maintaining customer satisfaction and operational efficiency, with potential opportunities for long-term career growth within the organization. Key Responsibilities * Manage customer purchase orders from order entry through invoicing. * Process customer requests, inquiries, forecasts, and order updates. * Monitor customer orders and shipment status to ensure timely delivery. * Communicate proactively with customers regarding order status, delays, and shipment updates. * Analyze inventory levels and customer demand trends. * Participate in customer forecasting discussions and maintain forecast information within company systems. * Partner closely with Sales, Demand Planning, Logistics, and Warehouse teams to support customer needs. * Maintain accurate customer records and account information. * Generate reports and provide operational support to internal teams. * Coordinate with third-party warehouse partners regarding inventory and shipments. * Build and maintain strong relationships with both customers and internal stakeholders. * Provide backup support to teammates as needed. * Manage a high volume of email communication while supporting a customer service phone queue. Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree required, preferably in: * Business * Marketing * Finance * Supply Chain * Related field * Strong customer service mindset with excellent communication skills. * Ability to prioritize competing tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. * Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. * Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications * 1-2 years of experience in: * Customer Service * Sales Support * Supply Chain * Manufacturing * Retail * Restaurant/Hospitality * Operations Support * Experience working with SAP and/or Salesforce (preferred but not required). * Experience supporting order management, inventory analysis, or logistics operations.
