Description The Junior Systems & Storage Administrative Support Administrator supports the design, implementation, and day-to-day management of enterprise storage environments, infrastructure systems, and cloud-based solutions. Working under the guidance of team members, this role assists in maintaining secure and reliable IT environments across both on-premises and cloud platforms. Willingness to learn enterprise tools, security practices, and infrastructure technologies. Key Responsibilities Systems & Infrastructure Support Support implementation and maintenance of servers, virtual machines, and cloud services. Assist with operating system installation, configuration, and patching for Windows and Linux systems. Help monitor and maintain networking services Perform routine system checks, updates, and performance monitoring. IT System Management Support server hardening, patching, and compliance processes. Contribute to hardware and lifecycle management activities, including vendor coordination and asset tracking. Help maintain backup and recovery processes for systems and storage. Storage Administrative Support Assist in administering enterprise storage systems including SAN, NAS, and cloud storage platforms. Support storage provisioning, allocation, and capacity management to meet business needs. Help monitor storage performance, availability, and utilization metrics. Assist with backup, replication, and data protection processes. Contribute to storage security, access controls, and compliance practices. Provide basic troubleshooting for storage-related issues and escalations. End User & Collaboration Services Provide support for M365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive). Assist in managing user mailboxes, distribution lists, and email flow issues. Support end-user computing environments Operations & Support Participate in incident response and on-call rotations as needed. Handle Tier 1-2 ticket resolution and escalate complex issues appropriately. Assist with automation of routine tasks using basic scripting (PowerShell, Bash). Maintain accurate documentation for systems, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to support enterprise initiatives. Disaster Recovery & Compliance Support business continuity and disaster recovery (BCDR) efforts. Participate in testing exercises and documentation updates.
