Residential Garbage Truck Driver Pasco West Hauling \| New Port Richey, FL Waste Connections is looking for safety-minded individuals who have a passion for driving, career growth, and who share our #1 Core Value: Safety! We are currently seeking a Residential Garbage Truck Driver to join our team in New Port Richey, Florida. Pay $24.00 per hour and up, based on experience. Schedule Monday - Friday Day shift starting at 5:00 AM Typically working 10-11 hour days Opportunity to work every 3rd Saturday for additional overtime Average work week of approximately 50-55 hours Position Summary As a Residential Garbage Truck Driver, you will operate a garbage truck along a designated route, providing safe, efficient, and courteous service to our customers. This is a physically demanding role that requires regular heavy lifting and frequent climbing in and out of the truck throughout the day. This is a full-time, year-round position offering stable employment and long-term career opportunities. Job Requirements Valid Class A or Class B CDL At least 2 years of work experience with a stable employment history, preferably in a driving position Ability to lift 50+ pounds Ability and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions Previous garbage truck experience is a plus, but not required Commitment to working safely and providing excellent customer service Veterans are strongly encouraged to apply.
