JOB SUMMARY:

The Director, Digital Merchandising for Intimates will serve as one of the key leaders on the Digital team developing and executing digital commerce strategy with the objective of significant top line and bottom-line growth. You'll have direct responsibility for all day-to-day operations and analytics associated with running categories of business for the site and app experiences. You'll have an in-depth understanding of all products within your categories (Bras, Panties, and Sleep) during peak selling seasons and will serve as the primary point of contact with Core Merchandising teams.

You'll have a holistic view of the site experience, working in partnership with Category Merchants, Planning, Creative, Marketing, Commerce Services, Operations, and Customer Care. You'll be tasked with achieving effortless shopping and delivering financial performance within your categories.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

BUILD (Vision and Enable)



  • Drives growth and productivity across digital channels
  • Responsible for bringing merchandise assortment strategy to life in the digital channel for both pre-season and in-season optimization
  • Accountable for site experience, content, navigation and analytics/performance
  • Influences projection, presentation and customer experience for total website
  • Provides leadership in the development of concepts, strategies, planning, implementation, and coordination for digital business
  • Builds and maintains productive partnerships with cross-functional areas, internal stakeholders, external vendors and resources
  • Influences the development of the digital customer experience in effort to support the full omnichannel experience, with focus on creating site links between app, social platforms and digital advertising
  • Patterns industry trends in customer behavior and competitive positioning to maintain ongoing awareness
  • Understands site and customer experience gaps to drive for capabilities and improvements to achieve business results


RUN (Deliver)



  • Ensures exceptional customer experience through the website
  • Responsible for identifying what the customer wants, how she shops and navigates through the site, and what drives conversion
  • Ensures consistency of digital store standards across all categories as it relates to concepts, ideas and layouts
  • Site content management oversight, including responsibility for site messaging and standards for merchandising, creative, and navigation
  • Influences and plays a leadership role with cross-functional partners (Marketing/Finance, Category Merchants & Planners, Platform, Operations)
  • Responsible for prioritization of Test & Learn initiatives affecting digital operations
  • Supports the team to achieve corporate goals and oversees recruitment, development, and performance management (2 direct reports, 2 dotted line reports)


RESULTS



  • Responsible for site analytics, customer behavior, and KPIs
  • Leverages data and insights to make data-driven changes and improvements in overall programs and monitors success over time
  • Analyzes current and projected ROIs on all initiatives to assist in long-term planning for digital business and required assets
  • Continuously acquires customer and market insights that drive site performance improvements
  • Conducts frequent internal and external evaluations of the site to ensure optimal customer experience
  • Communicates strategies and results to the overall business and senior leadership on a regular basis
  • Leverages insights from Customer Care Center, surveys, and other customer feedback channels
  • Key contributor in all business meetings
