Job Summary SummaryResponsible for inspecting, calibrating, testing, and repairing medical electronic equipment, and do so by using a variety of tools and computer applications. Does this position require Patient Care? No Essential Functions -Perform scheduled maintenance inspections and performance assurance inspections on specialized electronic equipment to ensure safe and effective operating conditions. -Test and calibrate components using a variety of manuals, troubleshooting techniques, and code requirements. -Ensure compliance with safety regulations and policies. -Ensure documentation is complete, timely, and accurate. -Repair and replace complex biomedical electronic equipment and systems. -Install and adjust a variety of electronic biomedical and research equipment. -Diagnose equipment malfunctions with accuracy and precision. -Function as the senior technologist to provide guidance and mentorship to other BMETs.
