Position description

Full Specialist - Kim Lab

Candidate will execute research under the R38 NIH grant for the Department of Ophthalmology in the Kim lab reporting to PI, Dr. Yvonne Ou. Appointee at the Full rank must have Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree or ten or more years of experience in the relevant specialization, by the time of hire. Applicant's materials must list (pending) qualifications upon submission. Preferred candidate will have experience in clinical research, and with interest in continued training in research. This particular candidate will be deployed 80% in clinical research, and activities will include project design, execution, analysis, and manuscript writing. The candidate would prepare research results for presentation at conferences.

See Table 24B for the salary range for this position. A reasonable estimate for this position is $96,500 - $201,700.
