ABOUT THE ROLE

The IT Support Specialist provides technical support and maintenance for end-user computing systems, ensuring reliable and efficient day-to-day operations. This role focuses on troubleshooting issues, supporting software and hardware, and maintaining secure and optimized IT environments. The position plays a key role in enabling employees to effectively use technology across the organization.

WHAT YOU'LL DO



  • Provide technical support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues
  • Install, configure, and maintain software applications, including ERP, CAD, and productivity tools
  • Manage and support client systems across multiple locations within a WAN environment
  • Monitor and maintain system security, responding to incidents and protecting sensitive data
  • Execute system upgrades, patches, and enhancements aligned with business needs
  • Track and manage IT assets, ensuring accurate inventory and lifecycle management
  • Create and maintain system documentation, configurations, and standard procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve computing infrastructure and performance
  • Support deployment of applications, updates, and system configurations
  • Troubleshoot and support devices including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
  • Identify recurring technical issues and implement long-term solutions
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to enhance user experience and system reliability


WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

The ideal candidate is a hands-on IT professional with strong technical troubleshooting skills and experience supporting end-user environments. They are proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities while delivering timely solutions. This individual communicates effectively across all levels and is committed to improving system performance and user experience.

IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE



  • Associate degree or technical degree preferred
  • 2+ years of relevant experience with a degree, or 4+ years of related experience
  • Industry certifications in desktop or IT support preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft O365, OneDrive, Teams, and related systems
  • Proficiency in Windows client configuration, deployment, and maintenance
  • Experience with application deployment, updates, and patch management
  • Experience supporting a wide range of devices and technologies
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed
