Title: HSM Direct Analyst

Duration: 12 Months with possible extension

Location: McLean, VA

Daily Responsibilities (What the role actually does)

Quote Management

  • Respond to customer quote requests same day or next day at the latest (if pricing is available).


Customer Follow-up

  • After sending quotes, follow up with customers:
  • "Did you receive it?"
  • "Are you still interested?"


Order Tracking

  • Track deliveries.
  • Proactively send tracking info to customers.
  • Maintain visibility into shipment statuses.


General Workload

  • Manage lots of details and keep track of many moving parts.
  • Handle a high volume of follow-ups and status checks.


Additional Expectations:

  • Role is somewhat stressful due to the workload and amount of tracking required.
  • Must be able to collaborate at all levels of the organization.
  • Should handle customer interactions professionally.


Interview Process: 2 rounds of 30?minute video interviews

Requirements:

  • One (1) year of customer service-related experience or
  • One (1) year of hospitality and/or supply chain related experience
  • BA/BS Bachelor's Degree
  • Proficiency with Excel


Preferred:

  • Two (2) years collaborating with suppliers/vendors and properties and/or customers
  • One (1) year of experience purchasing supplies/equipment for the hospitality industry or similar
  • BA/BS Bachelor's Degree in hospitality or supply management
  • Experience with Auto Quotes and/or PeopleSoft.
