Daikin Applied is seeking aSenior Compensation Partnerto support our rapidly expandingAlliance Air Productsbusiness, with a primary focus on our operations inTijuana, Mexico. This is a unique opportunity to build and shape compensation programs, job structures, and rewards strategies for a growing workforce while partnering with HR and business leaders across the United States and Mexico.In this highly visible role, you will serve as the lead compensation consultant for this business, helping ensure our pay practices remain competitive, equitable, scalable, and aligned with our global compensation philosophy.

Location: Remote, U.S., or Hybrid in Plymouth, MN

Your Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary compensation advisor for Alliance Air Products and Mexico-based operations.

  • Design, develop, and maintain compensation structures and job frameworks that support business growth and market competitiveness.

  • Conduct job evaluations, market pricing analyses, and compensation benchmarking for professional, managerial, and leadership roles.

  • Partner closely with HR, Finance, and business leaders to provide compensation guidance, recommendations, and insights.

  • Support compensation governance across U.S. and Mexican operations while helping ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.

  • Lead compensation projects related to organizational growth, acquisitions, workforce integration, and process improvement.

  • Participate in annual compensation programs, including salary structure updates, merit planning, and compensation reviews.

  • Develop compensation tools, reporting, dashboards, and analytical models that enable informed decision-making.

  • Evaluate leadership-level positions and provide recommendations regarding market competitiveness and internal equity.

  • Help establish scalable compensation practices that support future international growth.

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 6+ years of progressive compensation experience.

  • Professional fluency in both English and Spanish, including the ability to conduct business discussions and presentations in both languages.

  • Experience supporting compensation cycles, including merit planning, salary structure administration, and market benchmarking.

  • Strong knowledge of job evaluation, job architecture, leveling, and compensation program administration.

  • Advanced analytical, financial modeling, and data interpretation skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to consult with leaders and influence compensation-related decisions.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience supporting compensation programs in Mexico, Latin America, or other international markets. (preferred)

  • Knowledge of Mexican labor practices, compensation regulations, and benefits programs. (preferred)

  • Experience working in a global, matrixed, or multi-business organization. (preferred)

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation or progress toward certification. (preferred)

  • Experience with acquisitions, organizational design, or workforce integration projects.

  • Familiarity with HRIS and compensation systems such as Workday, Payfactors, or similar platforms. (preferred)

  • Experience leveraging automation, AI, or digital tools to improve compensation processes. (preferred)

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $153,300 + 10%-15% bonus in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
