THE ROLE: AMD is seeking a Senior Product Development Engineer to play a key role in the development and commercialization of advanced package technologies. In this position, you will lead mechanical engineering activities that enable new product introductions and next-generation packaging solutions from concept through production. You will work closely with package design, thermal, reliability, manufacturing, and supplier teams to develop innovative mechanical solutions, support product qualification, and drive successful production ramps. This role offers the opportunity to influence future packaging technologies while collaborating with global engineering teams and manufacturing partners across the semiconductor ecosystem. THE PERSON: The ideal candidate is a highly motivated mechanical engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and driving products from development into high-volume manufacturing. You are hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of balancing technical depth with cross-functional collaboration. Success in this role requires strong problem-solving skills, a passion for innovation, and the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
