Requisition Summary

This position will be expected to perform a variety financial analysis and cost accounting activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

Job Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation of the annual operating budgets and partner with operations department managers to ensure budgets and forecasts are achieved

Assist in preparation of monthly forecasts.

Participate in month-end closing duties, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, analyzing key accounts and reporting results to the financial reporting group.

Prepare and review monthly account reconciliations

Ensure proper internal controls are in place and perform tests to ensure compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.

Provide pertinent financial / accounting data to management on a monthly basis.

Ensure accurate inventory valuation based on performance of interim inventories, factor reviews, and assistance in planning and executing a bi-annual physical inventory.

Participate with special projects as required.

No travel is to be expected with this role.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting Required.
  • 3+ years of experience in Accounting Required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SAP, Manufacturing Accounting.
  • CPA Certified.
  • Public accounting and/or Cost Accounting experience.
