The Spirit of the Position

As an Overnight Valet Shift Lead, you'll help create exceptional guest experiences while supporting daily valet operations in a fast-paced resort environment. Working alongside the Location Manager, you'll lead by example, coach team members, and ensure every guest receives first-class service from arrival to departure.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership, developing others, and creating memorable experiences while embracing the energy and lifestyle of a mountain resort community.

What You'll Do

Lead the Team



  • Supervise, mentor, and support valet team members
  • Help create a positive and engaging team culture
  • Train new employees and reinforce service standards
  • Ensure policies, procedures, and safety practices are followed
  • Support management in improving operational efficiency


Create Outstanding Guest Experiences



  • Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude
  • Provide memorable service that reflects the property's hospitality standards
  • Assist with guest questions, directions, and local recommendations
  • Resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally
  • Build positive relationships with guests, clients, and coworkers


Support Daily Operations



  • Manage daily reports, revenue, and operational paperwork
  • Process payments and credit card transactions
  • Maintain parking and customer account information
  • Assist with incident reporting and operational communication
  • Serve as a key point of contact between staff, clients, and management

Qualifications

Required



  • Valid driver's license
  • Acceptable driving record
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, evenings, and special events


Preferred



  • Previous valet, hospitality, hotel, resort, restaurant, or guest-service experience
  • Leadership or supervisory experience
  • Basic computer skills


Physical Requirements

This is an active outdoor position requiring the ability to:



  • Stand, walk, and run for extended periods
  • Lift, bend, stoop, and move frequently during shifts
  • Work outdoors in changing mountain weather conditions, including snow, rain, wind, heat, and cold temperatures
