What You'll Do

As Talent Management Director, you'll lead a highimpact HR function, supervising our HR Business Partners, overseeing Learning and Development, elevating the colleague experience, and ensuring consistent, compliant practices across our multioffice organization. Talent acquisition, hiring, and onboarding are led by SSR's Talent Acquisition team; this role partners closely with that team and owns the colleague experience once onboarding is complete.



  • Supervise and develop the HR Business Partners and Learning and Development; set goals, review performance, and coach for growth and succession.
  • Partner with the Head of Human Resources and senior leaders to align HR strategy with business objectives; communicate plans to the HR team.
  • Oversee core HR programs: workforce planning, performance management, employee relations, leaves, people checks, engagement, culture, employee experience, and partnering with the Learning and Development Manager.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures; ensure consistent application across offices and programs.
  • Design and implement initiatives that support strategic goals (e.g., affirmative action, career pathing, performance management, engagement, wellness).
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; administer FMLA/PTO and related leave programs.
  • Serve as a consultative partner to managers on compensation, benefits, safety/security, ER issues, and change management.
  • Lead weekly department meetings; represent HR in crossfunctional meetings and external seminars as needed.
  • Build partnerships with firm leaders; assess needs, resolve issues, and foster a hightrust, inclusive culture.
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition Director to ensure a seamless transition for new colleagues from onboarding into HR support and development programs; manage exit processes.
  • Monitor HR metrics and outcomes; evaluate programs against goals and recommend policy/process improvements for efficiency and impact.
  • Support risk management, investigations, and sensitive employee matters with discretion and consistent documentation.


Who We're Looking For

Minimum Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or comparable field with nine years of applicable experience or master's degree in human resources or comparable field with seven years of broad-based human resource management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, maintain, and direct the overall human resource function
  • Demonstrated ability to serve as a knowledgeable resource to Senior level leadership


Preferred Qualifications:



  • PHR/SPHR certification
  • Expertise in HR policies, procedures, laws, standards, and government regulations; strong HRIS administration experience.
  • Depth in compensation, organizational development, learning and development, and employee engagement practices.
  • Clear written communication and presentation skills; strong speech clarity and interpersonal influence.
  • Organizational skills to orchestrate multiple priorities; sound judgment, confidentiality, and detail orientation.
  • Mentoring and teambuilding strengths; ability to research, anticipate, and solve complex people challenges.
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
