About The Role

POSITION SUMMARY:

The CRA Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the bank's Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) activities, including donations, service, and lending, and managing the community/non-profit relationships of the bank.

The pay range for this postion is: $20.68 - 31.01/hour

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBLITES AND DUTIES:
  • Creates, updates, and maintains continuous records of CRA Community Development activities in Kadince to facilitate periodic review of the bank's CRA compliance level and CRA performance.
  • Coordinates with lenders to collect additional information for Credit Authorizations to document community development loans and serve as the primary backup for entering data into Kadince.
  • Coordinates service projects in community, working with partners, soliciting sign-ups from employees, working with HR on coordinating documentation and recording all service hours in Kadince.
  • Works with community partners to collect required paperwork for donations and document all bank donations inside Kadince.
  • Updates the CRA Public File as needed
  • Serves as a member of the bank's CRA Committee and attend monthly coordination meetings on a division and corporate level.
  • Works to develop community outreach programs and outreach interviews for homeowner counseling, foreclosure prevention counseling as well as financial literacy training provided to non-profit organizations, high school students, senior citizens or other appropriate groups. Liaison between community school and Everfi representative.
  • Actively manages the bank's public relations by working with community partners to look for sponsorships and business development opportunities
  • Assists the marketing team on the coordination of bank events.

  • Keeps management appropriately informed of area activities and of any significant problems.

POSITION CONTACT:

  • Frequent contact with Branch Managers, administrative staff, and President/CEO.
  • Contacts involve varied, moderately to highly complex situations which require tact and judgment.

About You

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma, required
  • Bachelors degree in business, finance or related field preferred
  • 3 years of banking experience, preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, ABILITY:

  • Knowledge of industry rules and regulations related to Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, OFAC and other pertinent regulations
  • Working knowledge of lending, banking products and regulatory requirements
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - ability to articulate in a professional manner
  • Ability to work independently
  • Good working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Strong community involvement

WORK ENVIRONMENT: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with moderate noise.

Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation.

Specific lifting abilities required by this job include: ability to occasionally lift up to 10 lb items including filing boxes.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Starting salary is dependent upon relevant experience and may vary based on the geographic location of the position. Most Full-Time employees are also offered 6 paid holidays and Part Time employees are offered pro-rated paid holidays.
