Education Requirements



  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Technical training or manufacturing education is beneficial.



Experience Requirements


  • Previous manufacturing, machine operation, or production experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills required for data entry and production tracking.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work safely in a hot, industrial environment.


Job Duties


  • Operate welding wire production and spooling machines.
  • Remove completed wire spools from equipment and prepare them for shipment.
  • Bag, label, staple, and package finished products.
  • Stack completed products onto skids for transport.
  • Monitor machine performance and product quality throughout production.
  • Add flux (powder lubricant) as needed during the manufacturing process.
  • Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Butt weld wire together and re-thread machines when wire breaks occur.
  • Cross-train on drawbench equipment that forms flat steel into tubular shapes.
  • Enter production and quality data into computer systems.


Physical Capabilities


  • Frequently lift and move spools weighing up to 60 pounds.
  • Perform repetitive lifting, bending, and material handling throughout the shift.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Work in a hot, dusty, and industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to safely work around moving machinery and production equipment.
