Description Job Title: Material Handler Location: On-Site, Melbourne, FL Employment Type: Contract to Hire Industry: Defense & Aerospace Compensation: $17.00/hr Shift: 1st Schedule: 7:00am-4:30pm, Mon-Fri, 9/80 About the Opportunity: Acara is currently seeking a Material Handler for our client, a leading organization in the defense & aerospace sector. The ideal candidate will have experience in shipping, receiving and cycle counting. APPLY TODAY Job Requirements What You'll Bring: High School Diploma Minimum 1 year of stockroom / warehouse experience (receiving, put-away, picking, staging) Minimum 1 year of cycle count experience Minimum 1 year of experience operating a stand up forklift What Sets You Apart: Strong decision-making and leadership skills Strong attendance and punctuality Inventory systems experience (ERP, scanners, cycle counts) Ability to stay focused, work independently, and finish assigned work without constant direction Additional Information: Able to lift up to 30 pounds Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
