Job Summary

Our client is seeking an Installation Associate to perform residential and new construction appliance installations. This position is available for both entry-level and experienced candidates. Responsibilities include installing a variety of household appliances while providing exceptional customer service and ensuring all installations meet manufacturer specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering a professional customer experience.

Job Responsibilities



  • Install residential gas and electric household appliances, including dishwashers, ranges, ovens, cooktops, vent hoods, microwaves, refrigerators, and laundry equipment.
  • Perform advanced installations of premium appliances, including professional ranges, built-in refrigeration, wall ovens, raised vent systems, and panel-ready appliances, when qualified.
  • Follow manufacturer installation specifications, company procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Test installed appliances to ensure proper functionality and safe operation.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment to complete installations.
  • Perform quality inspections on completed installations and support quality assurance efforts.
  • Document installation activities and job details using third-party software applications.
  • Communicate installation concerns, project updates, and customer feedback to management.
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing training.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional appearance and work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Job Requirements



  • Entry-level candidates with 0-1 years of experience are encouraged to apply; training is provided.
  • One or more years of appliance delivery and installation experience is required for advanced installation roles.
  • Prior experience in construction, plumbing, carpentry, kitchen remodeling, or home appliance installation is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn appliance installation techniques.
  • Basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety procedures, installation manuals, and product specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly document completed work.
  • Effective organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to frequently lift and move objects weighing 50 pounds and occasionally lift objects weighing 90 pounds or more.


Education



  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.


Work Experience



  • Entry-level candidates with no prior installation experience are welcome to apply.
  • One or more years of appliance installation and delivery experience is required for advanced installation opportunities.
  • Related experience in construction, plumbing, carpentry, or home improvement is preferred.
