We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Employee Health Registered Nurse with expertise in enterostomal therapy to join our team and provide specialized care for patients requiring wound, ostomy, and continence management.

Key Responsibilities:

Employee Health Registered Nurse

  • Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
  • Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Always Demonstrates Service Excellence standards.
  • Demonstrates the ability to formulate questions that address clinical issues.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in completing an evidence-based practice literature search.
  • Analyzes best evidence to address a clinical question.
  • Translates evidence into clinical practice through the consistent use of knowledge and evidence.
  • Utilizes clinical reasoning and knowledge based on evidence-based practice outcomes and research studies as the basis for decision making and comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

Qualification

  • Current license to practice as an RN in the District of Columbia or eligibility to obtain by start date
  • BLS certification required
