Are you a relationship-driven sales professional with a passion for design, construction, and creating innovative interior environments? KI is looking for a Strategic Sales Specialist - KI Wall Solutions to lead the growth of our wall solutions business throughout the New England market.


As the KI Wall Solutions expert for the territory, you will partner with architects, designers, end users, contractors, and construction professionals to deliver customized solutions that transform workplaces, educational institutions, healthcare facilities, and other commercial environments. This role offers the opportunity to work from our Boston showroom, your home office, and customer sites throughout the region.


The salary range for this position is $90,000-$110,000 annually, plus uncapped commission beginning from dollar one. Final compensation will be based on experience, skills, and qualifications.



What You'll Do



  • Develop new business opportunities and build strong relationships as a trusted advisor to customers and industry partners.
  • Create and present comprehensive architectural wall solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Design and execute strategic business development plans that expand market share and generate revenue growth.
  • Identify, target, and cultivate relationships within key accounts across the territory.
  • Collaborate with architects, designers, end users, general contractors, and subcontractors to drive project success.
  • Represent KI at industry events, trade associations, networking functions, and design and construction community activities.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and forecast opportunities using CRM tools.
  • Partner closely with estimators, project coordinators, designers, project managers, and sales team members to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Serve as the regional subject matter expert for architectural wall products by providing training, guidance, and support to internal teams.
  • Lead product presentations, educational sessions, and specification efforts to help secure projects and drive sales.
  • Support projects from concept through installation to ensure successful outcomes for customers.



What You Need to Succeed:



  • Experience selling movable wall systems, demountable wall systems, architectural products, industrial partitions, or related commercial construction solutions preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the architecture, design, and construction industry.
  • Ability to read and interpret building plans, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Proven business development skills and a track record of building strong customer relationships.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities with the vision to develop innovative space solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Existing relationships with architects, designers, general contractors, and industry influencers within the Georgia market are highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
