The Retail Sales/Merchandising Agent is responsible for creating an exceptional shopping experience by maintaining an inviting, organized, and visually compelling retail environment. This team member serves as a brand ambassador by greeting guests, providing product knowledge, help Director of Retail merchandising displays, and ensuring the golf shop reflects the highest standards of presentation. The primary focus of this role is guest engagement, merchandising, and inventory replenishment, rather than processing sales transactions. Responsibilities * Welcome and engage guests in a friendly, professional manner while providing an exceptional retail experience. * Merchandise shelves, fixtures, tables, and displays to maximize product visibility and create compelling product stories with the Retail Director. * Maintain shop cleanliness, organization, and visual appeal throughout the day, including displays, fixtures, shelving, windows, and fitting areas. * Receive, unpack, ticket, and merchandise new inventory while ensuring products are accurately priced and displayed according to brand standards. * Monitor merchandise levels and replenish product to maintain a fully stocked and visually appealing sales floor. * Assist guests with product selection by offering knowledgeable recommendations on apparel, accessories, equipment, and gift items. * Maintain a strong working knowledge of all merchandise throughout the property to assist guests with special orders and product inquiries. * Support inventory accuracy by participating in cycle counts, inventory audits, receiving, transfers, and annual physical inventory. * Communicate low stock levels, merchandising opportunities, and product performance observations to leadership. * Ensure all displays, signage, and promotional materials are current, accurate, and professionally presented. * Maintain awareness of safety standards and contribute to a clean and safe environment for guests and associates. * Assist with special events, tournaments, retail promotions, and merchandising initiatives as needed. * Collaborate with the retail leadership team to continuously elevate the guest shopping experience. Qualifications * Passion for retail merchandising, visual presentation, and creating memorable guest experiences. * Strong guest service and interpersonal communication skills. * Ability to work independently while maintaining attention to detail and organizational excellence. * Ability to lift, move, and merchandise retail product throughout the shift. * Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. * Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. * Previous retail merchandising or visual merchandising experience is preferred but not required. * Basic understanding of inventory management and retail operations is a plus.
