Enrollment Management Communication

Job Description

Our student communications team is looking for a knowledgeable, detail-oriented professional who can keep enrollment campaigns on track, maintain accurate audiences, build queries, and identify improvements in our CRM processes.

You will understand the goals of each campaign, ask the right questions to determine who we are trying to reach and use Slate to execute campaign tactics and to make sure each message reaches the right students at the right time.

You'll monitor the performance of ongoing tactics and give status updates, and make recommendations for future improvements to the overall campaign strategy. Communicators from across campus will get to know you as the go-to for student emails, Slate queries, and you'll get to make recommendations for incorporating departmental work into our overall campaign structure.

Between campaigns, you will strengthen our email templates and content blocks, research HTML email and CRM best practices, and help develop new Slate functionality that improves the student experience and makes our work more efficient.

Our team produces coordinated marketing and communications that support the divisions within Enrollment Management, including university-wide recruitment, recruitment travel, campus visits, applications, enrollment milestones and transactional communications. Our work includes targeted print materials, mailings, emails, digital content and text messages. Our team is highly efficient, collaborative, kind, and energetic. We are a team where all ideas warrant discussion, no viewpoint is discouraged, and everyone gets a seat at the table.

Job Responsibilities:
*Executes enrollment communication tactics, including Slate queries and recipient lists, emails, letters, mailing lists, text-message audiences, social media target lists and related deliverables.
*Builds, schedules and quality-checks communications to ensure content, audience criteria, timing, personalization and suppression rules are accurate before launch, with the assistance of the supervisor.
*Develops procedures and guidelines for the execution of campaign tactics in CRM (Slate) and other systems.
*Sets up templates, standard content blocks, and individual email messages in email systems (Slate, DotDigital).
*Monitors and reports on the performance of current campaign tactics, discusses changes, and makes agreed upon adjustments.
*Reviews past performance and researches new approaches to identify successes, opportunities and recommendations for future campaigns.
*Schedules and executes departmental tactics for academic and support units.

*Pays close attention to detail when reviewing schedules, audience parameters, data and content.
*Works easily within software systems and navigates between several seamlessly.
*Uses sound judgment to identify issues, troubleshoot problems and recommend process improvements.
*Keeps track of many tasks at once and works quickly while maintaining accuracy.
*Communicates clearly and articulates professionally in person, virtual meetings, and in writing via email, Teams chat, inside the project management system, etc.

Shift

Monday - Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred Qualifications

*Experience using a CRM or email platform to build audiences/queries and execute communications. Slate experience is strongly preferred.
*Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.
*Ability to analyze campaign results, troubleshoot processes and
recommend practical improvements.
*Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders.
*Experience with strategic communications and/or marketing campaign development.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $54,000 - $60,000 Per Year

Grade: GGS 010
