As a Security Officer Full Time Screening Operations in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening individuals and packages, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while helping maintain efficient operations. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and drivers at a logistics and distribution location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Screen individuals, packages, and permitted items entering designated areas in accordance with site procedures; report prohibited or suspicious items and activities to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate visitor, driver, and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
