Job Title:StrategicAccount Manager

Location: Remote - Must reside in Texas.

Whatyou'lldo:

The StrategicAccount Manager is responsible for managing and growing existing NWEA customers by building long-term relationships with schools and districts.As the primary account owner, this rolefocuses on customer retention, satisfaction, and revenue growth by expanding the use of NWEA products and services to support studentoutcomes.

Working as part of the regional team, the StrategicAccount Manager collaborates closely with Account Executives and Partner Success Managers, whoare responsible foracquiringnew partners. This role requires responsiveness, active listening, and strategic engagement to enhance customer loyalty and maximize the value of NWEA solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Be the primaryaccountcontact for a portfolio of existing customers.

  • Ensure customer loyalty and satisfaction for retention through proactive outreach. Establish customer communication strategy to uncover needs and resolve issues.

  • Achieve renewal and expansion targets as defined by the regionalobjectives.

  • Plan and prioritize new product, expansion, and retention activities in alignment with team and organizational goals, budgets, and timelines.

  • Schedule and deliver webinars, introductions, data consultations as well as other sales calls and activities as needed.

  • Implement effective processes, procedures, and use of support materials to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in meeting each partner's unique needs.

  • Stay current and knowledgeable about NWEA products and services and the education market, including issues, trends, relevant laws, and competition.

  • Inform customers aboutfeaturesand benefits of products and services on a regular and proactive basis usingconsultativesales process.

  • Use Salesforce to manage opportunities andpipelinefor renewals, expansions and new products and services. Keep dataaccurate, up todateand comprehensive. Use Salesforce for customer and pipeline reports andto driveactivity.

  • Present price and termsin accordance withstandard procedures and/or contractual requirements. Accurately process and schedule partner transactions including quotes and orders.

  • Travel as needed for internal and external meetings and events, up to60%.

Whatyou'llneed:

  • This position requires a bachelor's degree in Education, Buiness or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 3+ years of Account Management experience(preferred)with proventrack recordof success and attainment of goal.

  • Selling experience into the educational markethelpful, withdemonstratedeffective communication and presentation.

  • Experience in a quota-carrying role is highly preferred.
  • Excellent relationship building skills, with a desire to create a positive experience.

  • Experience with NWEA products, services, and implementation preferred.

  • Working knowledge of Salesforce.

  • Understanding of K-12 education industry and assessment methodsdesired.

Salary:$90,000 - $95,000 + sales incentives.
