JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Monitor daily cash positions, banking activity, and liquidity across multiple accounts to support effective treasury management.
- Manage cash flow reporting and forecasting, including development and maintenance of a 13-week rolling cash flow forecast.
- Reconcile bank accounts and cash-related general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Prepare and maintain treasury dashboards and key performance metrics, including borrowing levels, capacity, interest rates, and cash flow analysis.
- Produce recurring financial reporting packages for banks, Caterpillar, leadership, and other stakeholders, including borrowing base and Dealer Financial Reports (DFRS).
- Support month-end close activities through cash-related accruals, reconciliations, financial analysis, and variance reporting.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards while maintaining organized, audit-ready documentation.
- Partner with Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and external auditors to support reporting, resolve issues, and ensure financial data integrity.
- Identify process improvement and automation opportunities within treasury and financial reporting functions while providing cross-functional support and backup coverage as needed.
RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Minimum 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience
- Experience in D365 is highly preferred
- Familiarity with financial audits and reconciliation processes
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies accurately.
- Working knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, general ledger systems, and corporate accounting procedures.
- Detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills and the ability to manage high-volume workloads while collaborating effectively across teams.
