Payrate: $31.34 - $36.69 Hourly, depending on skill and experience

1st Shift: 5:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m., Monday - Friday

As a Tooling Technician you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives!

Key Responsibilities

  • Determining and performing required maintenance (cleaning, lubricating, aligning/adjusting parts, calibrating, etc.).
  • Testing, troubleshooting, and repairing machines and equipment and ordering/installing replacement parts.
  • Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems (e.g., mechanical, electrical).
  • Evaluates and recommends equipment improvements to improve availability, capability and yield.
  • Performs equipment failure analysis (including preventive and unscheduled maintenance).
  • Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment problems. Prepare technical reports to document equipment modifications and equipment maintenance procedures.

  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in manufacturing or production environment
  • HVAC or Electrical experience preferred
  • Ability to read, interpret and understand technical documents/manuals and CAD drawings of plant equipment
  • Certified Maintenance Apprenticeship Program or Mechanical Institute Certificate
  • Ability to perform work in confined space, work at various heights, lifting and manual labor
  • Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel software, MicroMain, SAP, or similar CMMS Operating systems
  • Must be able to wear Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) including a respirator
