CDL Dispatcher

Location: Medstar Washington Center

Hourly Rate: $22.50/HR + Part-time

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Contact for Details) MUST have CDL for 2+ years (minimally) and w/ passenger endorsement + DOT Medical Card

Requirements: MUST have CDL for 2+ years (minimally) w/ passenger endorsement

Must have Class A/B License (Class B highly preferred)
Must have medical certificate for at least 2 years+
Must have passenger endorsement

The Spirit of the Position: The Dispatcher will greet, transmit and check in/out guests' through the shuttle process. In some cases, you also assist with safe transportation, loading and unloading of passengers & employees to and from the assigned destinations.

What will I do?

Greet customers, assist clients with parking services. Be responsive and timely with correspondence and problem resolution, and display a caring attitude, develop a rapport with the customer base.
Promote good customer relations by consistently providing premier customer satisfaction with a friendly demeanor, can-do attitude.
Complete other related duties as assigned.

Requirements: 2+ years with a CDL w/ passenger endorsement
Class A/B license ONLY
Comply with Federal DOT, State and Local Rules/Regulations, and Company Policy.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Valid Commercial Driver's License with passenger endorsement.
Valid Medical Card or ability to successfully perform and pass a DOT physical examination.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays.

Education: High school diploma or GED required.

Experience: Strong customer service experience.
Parking industry experience is preferred but not required.

Physical Demands: Willingness to work in the elements - heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
Ability bend, stoop, squat frequently throughout a shift.
