In this role, you will be instrumental in safeguarding the integrity of the company's financial reporting by meticulously overseeing its global fixed and intangible assets. You'll not only ensure compliance with stringent accounting standards but also drive transformative change through process automation and strategic project execution, directly contributing to enhanced efficiency and control across all regions. What You'll Do



  • Own the global accounting and reporting for fixed assets, including property, plant, equipment, and critical intangible assets, ensuring accurate capitalization, depreciation/amortization, disposals, and impairment analysis in accordance with US GAAP, relevant local GAAPs, and company policies.
  • Drive transformative change within fixed asset and intangible asset accounting through process automation, system optimization, and strategic project execution to enhance efficiency, control, and data integrity.
  • Contribute to the timely and accurate month-end and quarter-end close processes for fixed assets and intangible assets, including preparing journal entries, performing reconciliations, and providing robust supporting documentation for financial reporting.
  • Establish and maintain a robust governance framework for the global team, proactively managing financial risk and ensuring compliance with internal controls.
  • Act as a key point of contact for internal and external auditors, providing comprehensive support and documentation related to the global team, and ensuring strong internal controls are in place and operating effectively.
  • Collaborate effectively with business partners, including accounting teams, business finance teams, operations, tax, and Corporate accounting, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of fixed asset and intangible asset processes and data.
  • Prepare timely and accurate fixed asset and intangible asset schedules and reconciliations as required, collaborating closely with Corporate accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting.


What You'll Bring



  • Excellent ERP system knowledge or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated multi-national experience.
  • Accounting qualifications such as CPA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience in fixed asset accounting principles.
  • Strong expertise in US GAAP is essential, with demonstrated experience navigating and applying various local GAAP differences across multiple jurisdictions.
