The Clinical Informatics Specialist IV plays a critical role in advancing UCLA Health's analytics and technology strategy by designing and delivering intelligent, workflow-driven solutions that transform clinical and operational processes. This position combines advanced expertise in data analytics, data modeling, and solution architecture with experience leveraging automation, AI-powered technologies, and agent-based systems to improve organizational performance and decision-making. In this role, you will partner with clinical, operational, business intelligence, and enterprise analytics teams to translate complex business challenges into scalable, data-driven solutions. You will design, develop, and optimize modern analytics capabilities that leverage enterprise data platforms, automation frameworks, large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and enterprise technologies such as Salesforce to create meaningful operational efficiencies and actionable insights. Working alongside clinical, operational, and technology leaders, you'll have the opportunity to build innovative solutions that make a meaningful impact across one of the nation's most respected academic health systems. This flexible hybrid role allows for a blend of remote and on-site work, requiring presence on-site at least 5% of the time or as needed based on operational requirements. Please note, travel to the "home office" location is not reimbursed. Each employee will complete a FlexWork Agreement with their manager to outline expectations and ensure mutual understanding. These arrangements are periodically reviewed and may be adjusted or terminated as necessary. Salary offers are based on a variety of factors including qualifications, experience, and internal equity. The full salary range for this position is $109,900 - $243,900 annually. The University anticipates offering a salary below $170,000 annually. Qualifications
