JOB LOCATION DHIP Administrative Offices RTP - 4825 Creekstone Dr JOB SUMMARY We are seeking an Administrative Director for Physician & Provider Network management reporting to the DHIP Vice President for Growth and Network Development and partnering closely with the DHIP Chief Financial Officer, Community Chief Medical Officer, and VP of Operations, the Director, Physician & Provider Network Management serves as the single point of accountability for the business and network relationship between Duke Health and an assigned portfolio of community physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs). Organized by specialty and region, the Administrative Director provides concierge-level support to clinicians and is accountable for clinician performance, engagement, retention, and productivity across the network portfolio. This role manages the network arrangements that connect clinicians to Duke Health-employed agreements, internal MOUs, external Professional Services Agreements (PSAs), and joint ventures-and does not oversee clinic site operations. It translates operational, financial, and human-capital strategy into measurable clinician- and network-level outcomes. Core accountabilities include provider compensation plan management and incentive administration, practice- and provider-level financial performance, recruitment execution and ramp-to-productivity, contract review and renegotiation, financial oversight across all arrangements, and stabilization of acquisitions into network management. The Administrative Director partners with the community division chief for physician oversight and leads or supports strategic initiatives such as the APP transformation. Success requires the ability to manage complex business, financial, and human-capital matters and to communicate effectively with DHIP senior leadership, physicians, APPs, and staff in a highly matrixed environment.
