Full Time/Evenings (40 hours week)

For a limited time MaineHealth is offering up to a $20,000 Sign on bonus for eligible Registered Nurses with greater than 2 years of RN work experience!

  • Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time RN position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
  • Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

Summary:

The Nursing Supervisor provides coordination, supervision and management of all nursing functions on the inpatient units. The Nursing Supervisor reports directly to the Nursing Director or designee and works collaboratively with unit leadership, ensuring the successful operation of the unit.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program/RN required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: Licensed as a registered professional nurse by the Maine State Board of Nursing required.
  3. Experience: 2+ years of nursing experience preferred. Experience with psychiatric nursing preferred.
  4. Demonstrate leadership and management skills.
  5. Demonstrate expertise in clinical practice and judgment.
  6. Demonstrate effective communication skills.

The pay range for this position is $43.26to $58.52 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
