The AI Agent Builder is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise AI assistants using low-code/no-code platforms such as Microsoft Copilot Studio. Working closely with business stakeholders, governance, security, privacy, and technology teams, this role translates business needs into practical AI solutions that enhance productivity and streamline workflows. The position ensures AI assistants meet established governance, security, and compliance standards while supporting user adoption through training, documentation, and performance measurement. The AI Agent Builder also promotes best practices, monitors solution effectiveness, and contributes to the evolution of scalable AI capabilities across global PCG business units. Additional Details:
- This position requires up to 10% travel.
- This is approved remote, but may be required to the nearest Sherwin-Williams location.

AI Agent Development and Implementation
- Build and configure production-ready AI assistants using low-code/no-code platforms such as Copilot Studio, including conversation flows, user interaction patterns, prompt instructions, grounding context, tool actions, connectors, and approved data sources.
- Implement guardrails including scoped instructions, fallback responses, and human-in-the-loop escalation paths.
- Test agent behavior across common and edge-case scenarios; iterate based on user feedback, usage patterns, and performance insights.
- Support business users by co-building initial agents, sharing best practices, and enabling safe self-service within defined guardrails.
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Collaborate with Business Units to understand use cases and translate requirements into AI assistant designs.
- Partner with AI Governance, Security, Privacy, Technology, and Enterprise Technical Group teams to ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
- Support reuse and consistency of AI assistant solutions across multiple functions, regions and Business Units.
Governance and Risk Alignment
- Ensure AI assistants comply with established AI governance, security, and data privacy requirements.
- Document assistant behavior, approved data sources, and intended use to support review and audit processes.
- Incorporate monitoring, feedback mechanisms, and responsible operating practices.
AI Agent Adoption and Continuous Improvement
- Support PCG divisions in planning and executing training and adoption activities aligned with division priorities, business processes, and user needs.
- Develop and maintain training resources, quick-start guides, support materials, and adoption tools to foster consistent understanding and confident use of AI agents across global teams
- Establish meaningful adoption metrics and KPIs, track progress using relevant dashboards, and provide management updates on usage, engagement, outcomes, and improvement opportunities.
Foundational Enablement
- Follow defined standards and contribute to evolving best practices for AI assistants.
- Create and maintain documentation for ongoing maintenance and future enhancements.
- Help establish a foundation for progression from AI assistants to more advanced task-based agents over time.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
- Must be willing to travel as required by the position
- Must have a Bachelor's degree or higher
- Must have at least one (1) year experience building AI-enabled tools, assistants, or workflow automations
- Must have experience translating business needs into clearly scoped technical solutions
- Must have knowledge of modern AI development approaches (e.g., API-based AI services, prompt-driven systems)
- Must have experience delivering clear written and verbal communications to support collaboration across teams, ensuring timely and accurate sharing information
- Must have experience in using Microsoft suite of products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Must have experience using Tableau, Data IQ, Power BI tools for metrics tracking and/or KPI dashboard creation
- Must have exposure to Microsoft Copilot Agent Builder
Preferred Qualifications:
- Have a Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing or Communications
- Have experience with AI technology
- Have an understanding of enterprise environments, including security, compliance, and data sensitivity considerations
- Have exposure to agent frameworks, orchestration concepts, or task-based automation
- Have familiarity with AI governance, responsible AI, or risk management principles
- Have experience supporting multiple teams or functions in an enablement capacity
- Have experience with business-facing or low-code AI tools
- Have exposure to Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform, or similar low code AI/automation tools
- Have a basic understanding of how AI agents interact with enterprise systems via connectors or APIs
- Have familiarity with CRM platforms like Salesforce.com and Microsoft Dynamics
- Have project management experience managing projects within a matrixed organization
- Have experience in written and visual content creation
- Have experience giving presentations and presenting at public speaking engagements
