*Description*
We are seeking a strong Lead Business Continuity Disaster Recovery Analyst to help lead and sustain the Company's enterprise Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery program. This role reports to the VP of Information Security, GRC, and supports the company's ability to continue critical operations, recover technology environments, and demonstrate operational resilience in alignment with Company policy, regulatory expectations, audit commitments, and industry guidance. The position will lead core BC/DR program activities including business impact assessments, business resumption planning, disaster recovery coordination, risk assessment, testing, issue management, third-party continuity reviews, metrics, and governance reporting. The role will partner closely with business process owners, technology leaders, Enterprise Risk, Third-Party Risk Management, Information Security, Mission Control and Operations, and other stakeholders to ensure recovery strategies, plans, evidence, and reporting remain current, actionable, and examiner-ready. *As a Lead Business Continuity Disaster Recovery Analyst, you can look forward to:* * Leading the annual Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery program lifecycle, including business process inventory updates, Business Impact Assessments, Business Resumption Plans, Disaster Recovery Plans, testing, risk assessment, program updates, and governance reporting. * Partnering with business process owners, plan owners, technology teams, and approvers to ensure BIAs, BRPs, DR plans, recovery strategies, dependencies, RTOs, RPOs, MADs, recovery teams, and notification procedures are complete, accurate, approved, and maintained. * Administering and maintaining BC/DR program records, workflows, dashboards, reports, plan libraries, application mappings, vendor reviews, testing evidence, and issue documentation in Fusion Risk Management and related GRC or service management tools. * Developing, coordinating, and evaluating BC/DR testing activities, including tabletop exercises, limited-scale and full-scale exercises, third-party testing, disaster recovery failovers, incident response exercises, and evidence-based validation of recovery capabilities. * Preparing clear and concise program reporting, metrics, test summaries, issue summaries, management action plans, and executive-ready updates for Enterprise Risk, working groups, management committees, and Board-level reporting. * Performing BC/DR risk assessments using an all-hazards approach to identify threats, assess likelihood and impact, evaluate control effectiveness, identify recovery gaps, and establish action plans to strengthen operational resilience. * Supporting third-party continuity and disaster recovery due diligence by reviewing critical service provider BC/DR plans, testing evidence, recovery capabilities, dependencies, and residual risk documentation. * Providing practical, value-added recommendations to improve recovery strategies, plan quality, testing rigor, evidence retention, program monitoring, and overall resilience across critical business and technology processes. * Serving as a subject matter expert for business continuity, disaster recovery, operational resilience, recovery planning, BIA methodology, testing expectations, issue escalation, and regulatory or audit readiness. * Coordinating with Technology, Information Security, Mission Control and Operations, Corporate Communications, Corporate Services, and business teams during incidents, exercises, and plan activation activities to support timely response, recovery, restoration, and business resumption. *Qualifications* * Bachelor's degree in Business Continuity, Emergency Management, Information Systems, Information Technology, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field. * Minimum 5 years of experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, operational resilience, infrastructure project management, information security, audit, or technology risk management, with demonstrated experience leading program activities or cross-functional engagements. * Strong understanding of business continuity and disaster recovery program elements, including BIAs, BRPs, DR plans, RTOs, RPOs, MADs, dependency mapping, recovery strategies, plan testing, incident response coordination, and issue management. * Experience coordinating with technology teams on disaster recovery planning, application and infrastructure dependencies, failover testing, backup and recovery capabilities, recovery evidence, and validation of recovery objectives. * Knowledge of regulatory and industry guidance relevant to business continuity, disaster recovery, operational resilience, information security, and risk management, including FFIEC, NIST, GLBA, SOC, PCI, and related standards. * Experience designing, facilitating, documenting, and evaluating continuity or recovery exercises, including scenario development, test scripts, evidence collection, lessons learned, and corrective action tracking. * General understanding of financial services operations, technology environments, third-party dependencies, information systems, and the impact of operational disruptions on customers, partners, regulatory obligations, and critical services. * Executive presence and strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex continuity, recovery, technology, and risk concepts into clear business, audit, and executive-ready communications. * Enthusiastic, self-motivated, detail-oriented, willing to be challenged, and able to take personal responsibility for sustaining a high-visibility enterprise resilience program. * Ability to effectively prioritize multiple projects, meet deadlines, coordinate across stakeholders, and manage program deliverables within established timelines. * Ability to provide guidance to business process owners, plan owners, technology teams, and management on BC/DR requirements, testing expectations, evidence standards, and remediation of identified gaps. * Candidates with or pursuing business continuity, disaster recovery, risk, audit, or information security certifications such as CBCP, MBCP, CBCI, CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or related credentials *Additiona Skills * *Preferred:* * Experience with Fusion Risk Management, LogicGate, Jira, ServiceNow, Workday reporting, dashboards, metrics, or other GRC, resilience, service management, or reporting tools is a plus. * Experience in regulated financial services, banking, payments, fintech, public company environments, or programs subject to FFIEC, PCI, SOC, GLBA, audit, or supervisory expectations is a plus. * Experience developing training, job aids, templates, test scripts, executive reporting, audit responses, or examiner-ready documentation for business continuity, disaster recovery, operational resilience, or technology risk programs is a plus. *Job Type & Location* This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Monrovia, CA. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
