About the Opportunity:

The Planner is responsible for day-to-day updates on scheduling needs, prioritizing the parts to ensure the team is working in the correct order of importance.

Location: Eastford, CT

This position is 100% on site.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive parts into inventory
  • Issue sub details out to upper assemblies
  • Weekly commits to our customers
  • Weekly planned orders submitted to fulfill customer demand and monthly schedule.
  • Communicate to Purchasing Department and Outside services on any purchased items and items at outside vendors to ensure return dates line up with demand.
  • Communication with sales team with any questions on customer demand or shifts in Scheduling
  • Effective problem-solving capabilities in challenging and demanding situations, and ability to focus on ever shifting priorities.
  • Cycle counts on inventoried items to ensure accuracy withing the department.
  • Required Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in business or related field
  • 3 years of job-related experience
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5 years of job-related experience
  • Demonstrated experience in judgment, ingenuity, critical thinking and adherence to established policies and procedures
  • Ability to manage projects, gather and analyze data, work in a team environment and meet deadlines timely
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Project and PowerPoint

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk.
  • Lift up to 30lbs
