Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical training or manufacturing education is beneficial.

• Previous press machine, manufacturing, or production experience preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment troubleshooting
• Ability to read and follow work orders and job specifications
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Dependable attendance and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to adapt to changing production priorities
• Safety-conscious with a strong work ethic

• Operate fully automatic and semi-automatic screen press equipment
• Review work orders and production specifications before starting jobs
• Gather and prepare materials needed for production runs
• Set up press equipment according to job requirements
• Monitor machine performance throughout the production process
• Adjust equipment settings to maintain quality and accuracy
• Identify and troubleshoot minor equipment issues
• Perform routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
• Meet production goals while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
• Report equipment problems, delays, or quality concerns to supervisors

• Previous machine operation, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience is preferred.
• Experience performing machine setup, tooling changes, troubleshooting, or preventative maintenance is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality systems, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate mechanical ability, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are well positioned for success as a Screen Press Machine Operator.
• Previous press machine, manufacturing, or production experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate.

• Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and work safely in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to perform repetitive production tasks.
• Ability to lift and move materials or equipment as required.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing/production environment.
• Must follow established workplace safety procedures.
