The Infrastructure GBU's Renewables & Clean Power business line is executing the Maple Creek Combined Cycle Power Project, a new natural gas-fired generation facility designed to provide reliable, efficient, and flexible power generation to support growing energy demand. The project will be executed utilizing Bechtel's proven Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) execution model, integrated digital delivery tools, and Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) processes to achieve safe, predictable, and efficient project delivery Job Summary:
The Workface Planner & Hydrotest Coordinator supports construction execution on the Maple Creek Combined Cycle Power Project through the development and maintenance of Advanced Work Packaging (AWP), Installation Work Packages (IWPs), hydrotest planning, and construction readiness activities. Working closely with Construction, Field Engineering, Project Controls, Supply Chain, Startup, and subcontractor teams, this role is responsible for developing executable work packages, identifying and removing constraints, coordinating hydrotest activities, and ensuring field work is sequenced safely and efficiently. The position supports Bechtel's AWP methodology by integrating engineering, procurement, construction, and startup requirements into field execution plans that improve productivity, predictability, and readiness for system turnover and commissioning. The successful candidate will initially support project setup activities from Reston, Virginia, and will mobilize to the Maple Creek project site in Indiana to support field execution, hydrotest coordination, workface planning, and installation work package implementation. #LI-SP1 Major Responsibilities:
