What you will enjoy doing*
- Receive incoming packages and route them to the appropriate department
- Inspect incoming materials for damage and report discrepancies
- Carefully package items for safe shipment
- Generate shipping labels and coordinate pickups with FedEx, UPS, USPS, and local couriers.
- Track shipments and follow up on delays or lost packages
- Maintain stockroom to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of materials
- Maintain a clean, organized shipping and receiving area
- Manage incoming and outgoing supply orders as needed
- Forklift driving
What makes you great
- High
school diploma or equivalent - Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Comfort with computers and basic shipping software
- Safety Certification. ICC International code council ICC
- Reliable,
punctual, and able to meet daily shipping deadlines - Prior shipping, receiving, warehouse experience a plus but not required
Physical Requirements
- Ability
to work in both office and industrial outdoor environments. - Ability
to walk construction sites and facility grounds for extended periods. - Capability
to lift, carry, and move materials consistent with job requirements. - Ability
to operate or coordinate the use of equipment such as forklifts, loaders, lifts, and other site-support machinery, as authorized and trained.
