Compensation: $90,000 - $100,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications Position Summary This is a 0.5 FTE position, anticipating 18.5hrs per week. The Assistant Dean for Graduate Medical Education (GME) and Continuing Medical Education (CME) provides strategic and operational support for GME and CME at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science (RFUMS) and Chicago Medical School (CMS). Reporting to the Associate Dean for GME and CME and Designated Institutional Official (DIO), the Assistant Dean supports the administration, accreditation, continuous improvement, and growth of GME programs and serves as a key operational leader for the institutional CME program. The Assistant Dean works collaboratively with the Dean, Associate Dean/DIO, Program Directors, faculty, residents and fellows, the CME Committee, clinical affiliates, and university leadership to advance educational excellence, regulatory compliance, and institutional priorities. Who We Are Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science (RFUMS) is a six-college graduate health sciences university dedicated to the interprofessional education of health and biomedical professionals. Chicago Medical School (CMS), the original college of the six, has been educating physicians and furthering biomedical research for more than 100 years. Established in 1912, the founders built a combined medical school and hospital where working men and women could study medicine at night. Faculty Responsibilities All faculty members are expected to participate in activities appropriate to their faculty role, which may include teaching, scholarly activity, and service. Responsibilities may include instruction, assessment, mentoring, scholarship, research, committee service, recruitment, and professional service, as appropriate to the faculty track.
