OVERVIEW

This diverse and dynamic role supports the Sturtevant Leadership and Human Resources Team. Primarily reporting to the Director of Operations and Director of Human Resources, this role offers an opportunity to support administrative, finance, employee engagement, and project management activities. Qualified candidates will bring strong organizational skills, business acumen, capacity for multi-tasking/prioritization based upon evolving requirements, and a strong customer service mindset.

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Meeting Management| Organizing/calendaring meetings, including responsibility for all logistics and preparation for meeting governance, including creating/organizing agenda(s), documenting action items/decisions taken, following up on open topics/items, and communicating with stakeholders and participants about requirements.
  • Project Management| As a colleague and team member of both the Operations and HR function, this person may be asked to assist with a variety of presentations, data completion for business documents, or completion of project activities as a part of a collaborative work team.
  • Communication| Assist with creation of campus wide/US wide communications related to employee programming and events.
  • Distribute content related to site-specific matters and cascade global communications.
  • "MyBRP" Ticketing System| BRP uses an employee self-service portal and ticketing function to answer to employee inquiries regarding various employee topics. Responsible for answering such inquiries within the established service period(s) guidelines.
  • Travel/Expenses| Responsible for assisting with travel arrangements primarily for Leadership staff and, as necessary, provide assistance to other employees to establish a travel system profile and arrangements.
  • Payroll Compliance| As a public company, BRP is required to have certain financial controls and procedures. On a bi-weekly basis, complete auditing of payroll records preceding payroll transmission.
  • Ordering Office Supplies| Order supplies as requested by staff and assess/maintain inventory of frequently used items.
  • Purchase Orders & Invoices| Create Purchase orders and prepare invoices for payment.
  • Data/File Management| Develop, organize, and maintain filing and databases in a confidential manner.
  • General Inquiries| Act as an intermediary and representative of both the Director of Operations & Human Resources in answering questions, navigating requests for assistance, and scheduling. Provision of support as needed for local and global internal employees and external parties.

FINANCE/BUDGETING

  • Budgeting Process| BRP has a defined annual Financial calendar for purposes of budgeting, forecasting, and actuals. This person will work with the Operations & HR Director to complete budget-related templates and narratives for submission on an annual, quarterly, and monthly basis.
  • Financial Systems| BRP uses a budget management system, TM1, to budget and forecast throughout the calendar year. Accordingly, this person will be responsible for generating financial reports and updating system information.

EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT

  • Engagement Plan & Calendar| BRP offers many Wellness, general employee engagement, and Holiday activities for employees. This person will take a leadership and primary role in helping to establish the annual engagement plan, create detailed activity project plans, and assume full responsibility for hosting/resourcing the associated events.

OTHER DUTIES

  • This role also provides the opportunity for other work activities throughout the business cycle based upon capacity and organizational requirements. Interested candidates should enjoy and welcome the opportunity to deliver their core responsibilities and other duties as required/assigned.

YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND COMPETENCIES:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree in Business Administration or a similar degree a plus.
  • At least 2 years of experience in an administrative role supporting executive leaders, with additional, applied experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Strong customer service mindset and ability to respond effectively to employee inquiries/feedback to offer support and assistance with issue resolution.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Working knowledge of Google Workspace.
  • Position requires current work authorization. Sponsorship now or in the future is not provided for this role.
  • Relocation support is not provided for this position. Candidates must be willing and able to relocate at their own expense.
