The Recruiting Lead is responsible for closely managing a team of Regional Recruiters who are actively sourcing
candidates, screening resumes, interviewing applicants and referring well-qualified candidates to job assignments to
meet the goal of attracting and retaining the best talent. This position is responsible for high-quality recruitment of
various positions of both CDL and Non CDL drivers and held accountable to meeting specific goals (time to fill,
recruiting compliance, etc.) as well as managing team KPIs and ensuring performance is excellent. The Lead
Regional Recruiter must be adept at using databases to run advanced finds, source organic candidates and manage
daily activities of their team, as well as recording all activity related to their own role. This role may also help fill in for
Regional Recruiters based on scheduling and volume needs and will be responsible for their own funnel of candidate
requisition, for example with VIP and hard-to-fill roles as needed by the business. Eventually the Lead RR will also
help handle larger, more complex branches that need additional strategic help due to their size. In addition, this role,
in conjunction with the Lead Utilization Manager, will help conduct and build Non CDL funnels with Non CDL specific
recruiters to create the framework of a new vertical.

Your Role & Responsibilities
* Track and manage performance of team towards established KPIs and ensure that branches are satisfied with their Regional Recruiters.
* Ensure that handoff between teams is closely managed for the best customer experience for both candidates and internal staff.
* Monitors the active pipeline of candidates for critical roles as needed, especially when stepping in to cover team absences; maintain and update candidate database.
* In partnership with HEAT Leadership and Lead Utilization Manager, ensure that best practices, interviewing, and onboarding SOPs are consistent throughout all regions.
* Conduct thorough pre-screens, interviews (often remotely), and recommend candidates to fill orders as needed, and conduct quality checks as needed.
* Run reporting on Funnel Management and candidate touch, and actively managing team to sure performance* Consistently follow up with candidates in process, including managing an ongoing funnel of active
candidates in various stages of contact, as well as candidates archived as needed.
* Quality control of files sent back to Regional Recruiters and coach according to specific issues identified.
* Ensures Regional Recruiters send their daily End of Day recaps to branches reviewing details of interviews,
connects and recommended fit for open orders.
* Conduct periodic quality check for feedback on interview experience from candidates in the funnel.
* Manages and assists team in developing creative sourcing plans to include traditional networking
approaches through web-based and social media channels.
* Participates in weekly and monthly whiteboard meetings to understand order fill goals and coach Recruiters
on how best to source candidates.
* Trains RRs and assists when needed to lead candidates through the interview cycle based on their
experiences, skills, expectations, and availability as needed.
* Use database to process candidates through the full vetting cycle and to document all job activity.
* Train new and tenured Regional Recruiters on all the job tasks needed in their roles, including updates to
processes and SOPs.

Preferred Education & Experience
* High school diploma or 3+ years work-related experience preferred, including managing a team
Competencies (Skills & Knowledge You'll Bring)
* Ability to work independently and self-direct.
* Strong computer skills including experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Salesforce, Bullhorn, MS Office,
Outlook (preferred), and/or the ability to quickly learn new systems.
* Strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to follow through with an appropriate sense of urgency.
* Enjoy working in a high volume, fast-paced environment
* Patience and ability to effectively work with people from all socio-economic backgrounds
* Communicates information and ideas clearly and articulately both in oral and written form. Uses appropriate
language, style and methods depending on audience and the purpose of communication.
* Achieves results in a quality, timely, and cost-effective way. Sees priorities, plans the efficient use of
resources, and monitors progress against objectives.

tasks equally effectively.
