Working in close partnership with the Industry Editorial Boards, and Marketing Centers of Excellence, the Senior Manager ensures every piece is original, on-brand, and measurable.

How you'll spend your time:

  • Owning and maintaining a centralized editorial calendar.

  • Developing recommendations to repurpose and extend assets across channels for reach and longevity.

  • Serving as the operational owner of the Thought Leadership Policy, safeguarding content integrity and the appropriate recognition of subject-matter professionals.

  • Upholding disclaimer, trademark, and brand-use requirements across firm-published and personal or external content.

  • Managing, coaching, and developing a team; set standards, balance workloads.

  • Owning the multi-stage editorial review process - substantive, line, and copy editing - so every piece is polished, credible, accurate.

  • Maintaining style, voice, and quality guidelines, and giving constructive feedback that elevates the writing of both the team and contributing professionals.

  • Ghostwriting articles, bylines, LinkedIn posts, scripts, and speaking content where applicable, conducting author interviews to capture unique points of view, then shape them into polished, publication-ready thought leadership.

  • Responsibly integrating approved AI tools to accelerate research, outlining, drafting, repurposing, and optimization - always with human subject-matter review and in line with firm data, confidentiality, and quality standards.

  • Piloting and scaling AI-enabled workflows increase output and consistency without compromising originality or accuracy.

  • Helping define guardrails, prompts, and best practices for the team's use of AI in content development.

  • Partnering with Marketing Leaders for idea generation through development, promotion, and measurement.

The kinds of people we want to talk to have many of the following:

  • 8+ years of content, editorial, journalism, or thought leadership experience, including 2+ years leading writers or editors - professional services, accounting, or B2B environment preferred.

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a portfolio of published short and long-form and thought leadership content.

  • Demonstrated ghostwriting experience and the ability to adopt multiple expert voices.

  • Working fluency with AI content tools and a clear point of view on using them responsibly.

  • Strong project management skills; able to run a high-volume editorial calendar across many stakeholders.

  • Experience in a multi-service professional services firm or regulated industry.

  • Familiarity with SEO/AEO, digital distribution, and content performance measurement.

  • Experience partnering directly with senior leaders and subject-matter experts.

  • Editorial judgment - an uncompromising bar for quality, accuracy, and originality.

  • Leadership & coaching - develops writers and editors and elevates the work of contributors.

  • Collaboration - builds strong partnerships across industries, service lines, and Centers of Excellence.

  • Governance & brand stewardship - protects authorship standards, disclaimers, and the firm's brand.

  • Adaptability with AI - adopts emerging tools thoughtfully and responsibly.

  • Results orientation - ties content to engagement, pipeline, and measurable ROI.

  • Experience partnering directly with senior leaders and subject-matter experts.
