The Office of Communications & Marketing is responsible for leading communications and marketing that align with Cummings School's Strategic Vision 2030 and support campus partner business goals including recruitment, retention, reputation, philanthropy, events, awareness, and outreach. The Office develops, creates, and manages both internal and external communications content across digital platforms (website, email marketing, digital signage, social media, digital asset management system, virtual tour, etc.) and print communications (annual magazine, recruitment brochures and flyers, advertising, etc.) focused on our primary audiences (prospective and current students and faculty, referring veterinarians, clinic/hospital clients, donors, community partners). The Office is the school lead on brand management and messaging and marketing systems training and support (campus calendar, photography/videography requests). The Office coordinates and collaborates with Cummings School senior leadership, University Communications and Marketing, Tufts PR/Media team, Tufts Technology Services, Cummings School Advancement Team, and various other university departments and functions.

This is an opportunity to lead communications and marketing for a nationally recognized veterinary school at the intersection of science, medicine, education, and animal health.

At Cummings School, your work will help bring important stories to life-from groundbreaking research and clinical care to student achievement and community impact. You'll work with senior leaders, faculty, researchers, clinicians, students, and colleagues across Tufts to shape the voice and visibility of a school doing meaningful work for animals, people, and the planet.

Cummings School offers a 35-hour work week along with a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employees professionally and personally, including:

  • 20 vacation days
  • 2 personal days
  • 14 university holidays
  • Retirement benefits
  • Tuition remission and education reimbursement opportunities
  • Opportunities for ongoing professional and career development
  • The opportunity to be part of the broader Tufts University community and its resources

This is an onsite, Monday-Friday leadership role in North Grafton, Massachusetts, designed for someone who values the energy, relationships, and creative collaboration that come from being part of the campus community.

If you are ready to lead with vision, tell stories that matter, and help shape the public voice of a school doing consequential work in veterinary medicine, we want to hear from you.
