With your expertise in developing and implementing strategic plans, you'll not only enhance employee and customer experiences, but also improve operational efficiency and overall productivity. What you'll do
  • Partner with business and technology teams to improve how connected digital tools, data, and processes enable product development and operational efficiency.
  • Support the transformation of engineering and product development processes by identifying future-state capabilities and helping drive cross-functional alignment.
  • Apply knowledge of the New Product Introduction (NPI) lifecycle, from concept through commercialization, to improve process efficiency and business outcomes.
  • Contribute to the adoption of modern engineering practices, including Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), digital twins, and digital thread initiatives.
  • Help streamline Engineer-to-Order (ETO) and Configure-to-Order (CTO) processes by supporting product configuration and options management improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Quoting, IT, and Product Management to drive process enhancements and user adoption.
  • Participate in business transformation and technology implementation projects that improve productivity, scalability, and digital adoption.
  • Evaluate and implement technology solutions that simplify processes, improve data quality, and enhance user experience.
  • Support the integration of AI, machine learning, and analytics capabilities into business processes to improve decision-making, operational insights, and speed to market.
  • Promote best practices, continuous improvement, and change management while helping teams adapt to new tools and ways of working.
Who we're looking for
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
  • 6-8 years of experience in operations, business process improvement, digital transformation, or systems implementation within complex organizations.
  • Understanding of product lifecycle management (PLM), product portfolio management, manufacturing, or engineering processes.
  • Experience working with enterprise platforms such as Siemens Teamcenter and NX
  • Knowledge of New Product Introduction (NPI), product configuration, BOM management, lifecycle management, workflows, and approval processes.
  • Familiarity with system implementation methodologies and software development lifecycle concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and changing priorities.
  • Experience identifying process improvement opportunities and evaluating new tools or technologies.
  • Effective communicator who can translate complex concepts into clear business value and build alignment across stakeholders.
  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills with a track record of influencing cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding of industry best practices and the ability to apply them to practical business challenges.
  • Working knowledge of end-to-end business processes and data connectivity across functions.
  • Demonstrates curiosity, a growth mindset, and a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience in consulting, business transformation, or process improvement roles.
  • Experience working in complex, fast-paced manufacturing or product development environments.
  • Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts and their business applications.
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP platforms.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories - On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.

Salary

CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $114,000.00 -$253,000.00.

The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
