This individual will create high-quality, social-first video and graphic content for platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest.

The ideal candidate is a versatile designer and video editor who understands social media trends, can manage a high volume of deliverables, and is comfortable coordinating all stages of content production-from sourcing product samples and developing concepts to editing and final asset delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Create approximately 30 unique, net-new organic social assets per week, including video and graphic content.
  • Design and edit engaging content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and other social platforms.
  • Coordinate product samples, props, content capture, editing, internal review, and final asset delivery.
  • Support the execution of in-season and holiday social content briefs.
  • Develop original, platform-relevant content concepts based on products, trends, and campaign priorities.
  • Source visual inspiration and contribute ideas for upcoming social initiatives.
  • Assist Art Directors with additional creative and production-related assignments.
  • Contribute to high-volume content editing projects and major seasonal campaign deliverables.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Ensure content is completed accurately and delivered on schedule.

Required Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro.
  • Strong graphic design and video-editing skills.
  • Experience creating content specifically for organic social media.
  • Working knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest.
  • Strong visual storytelling skills with a portfolio demonstrating creativity, range, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to explain creative concepts and design decisions clearly.
  • Excellent organization, project-management, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume workload with multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Collaborative, reliable, and comfortable working within a multidisciplinary creative team.
  • Ability to work onsite in New York City Tuesday through Thursday.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience creating social content for a fashion, beauty, retail, or lifestyle brand.
  • Understanding of current social media trends, formats, and platform-specific best practices.
  • Experience managing product samples, props, and content-production logistics.
  • Ability to develop creative concepts with limited direction or before a formal brief is available.
  • Enthusiasm for fashion, culture, and social-first storytelling.

Team Environment

This position will join an Organic Social Creative team that includes creative leadership, art direction, copywriting, and content production professionals. The team manages a consistently active pipeline of social initiatives, providing opportunities to contribute across multiple seasonal campaigns and content formats.

Typical Day

A typical day may include creating and editing social videos and graphics, sourcing and organizing product samples, researching visual inspiration, developing content ideas, collaborating with Art Directors and copywriters, incorporating feedback, and preparing final assets for delivery.

Portfolio Requirement

Candidates must submit a portfolio demonstrating:

  • Social-first video and graphic content
  • Video-editing capabilities
  • Strong graphic design fundamentals
  • A range of visual styles and content formats
  • Clear creative thinking and storytelling
