Your Job

As a Quality Supervisor, you will lead and develop a team of Quality Technicians while supporting quality excellence in a manufacturing environment. You will partner with Operations, Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to drive continuous improvement, resolve issues, and ensure quality standards are met. This is an off-shift leadership role, primarily working Monday through Friday on second shift (typically 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM), with flexibility in start and end times to provide support across day and night shifts.
Our Team
Our Quality team supports a multi-shift manufacturing operation focused on product quality, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. In this role, you will lead Quality Technicians working 12-hour shifts and collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to ensure quality objectives are achieved across the operation.

What You Will Do

  • Lead, coach, and develop the Quality Technician team, fostering a culture of learning, ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership for quality personnel across multiple shifts, ensuring appropriate support for operational needs.
  • Partner with Quality, Production, Engineering, Metrology, and Operations leaders to improve quality processes and team effectiveness.
  • Oversee nonconforming material processes, including management of hold areas, product disposition, and inventory control activities.
  • Provide oversight of inspection processes, sampling plans, and inspection documentation to ensure product quality requirements are met.
  • Facilitate communication and problem-solving across departments to address production and quality concerns.
  • Champion a safe, compliant, and collaborative work environment.
  • Maintain visibility across all shifts, adjusting work schedules as necessary to support business needs and employee development.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • 2+ years of experience conducting employee coaching, performance discussions, and development activities with direct reports.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience leading quality teams in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience supporting multi-shift operations.
  • Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Business, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of ISO 13485, ISO 9001, FDA 21 CFR 820, or similar quality standards.
