Senior Specialist - Creative Operations

This is a contract role through the end of the year, working 30-40 hours per week, located in Portland, Oregon.

Summary

This role sits at the intersection of Creative Operations and Project Management, supporting the execution of creative work across a portfolio of seasonal B2B marketing campaigns and smaller brand initiatives. You will translate project briefs into clear creative plans, manage timelines and deliverables, and create visibility into project status across internal teams and external partners.

As a central connector for the Creative Studio, you will help strengthen collaboration, improve workflows, administer project tools and documentation, and keep fast-moving creative projects on track from kickoff through final delivery.

Job Description

In this role, you will manage the creative workstream for a portfolio of marketing and brand projects, ensuring creative assets are delivered on time, on brand, and within approved scope.

You'll partner with marketing leads, project leads, producers, studio management, creative leadership, brand teams, and external agency partners to translate briefs into actionable creative plans. This includes auditing incoming requests for completeness, clarifying scope and requirements, setting up project kickoffs, establishing timelines and review processes, assigning work, and tracking deliverables through completion.

You will serve as the primary point of contact for a North America marketing-request intake process, helping ensure briefs are clear, priorities are well defined, and the right creative resources are assigned. You will also develop and manage detailed workback schedules, support resource planning, and adjust plans as project scope, priorities, or timing evolve.

You will also maintain project-management tools, asset trackers, central documentation, templates, and status reports across creative scopes. By improving workflows and building scalable processes, you will support the Creative Studio's overall success and help teams execute high-quality work with greater clarity, consistency, and efficiency.
