Description

Job Title: Area Facility Manager

Department: Operations

Reports To: Area / Operations Manager / City Manager

FLSA Status: Exempt

Work Schedule: Required to work during normal business hours.

Work Location: Onsite. Hollywood, CA.

Position Overview:

The Area/Facility Manager works with the manager to ensure effective daily operations of assigned parking station(s) and/or facility(ies). Responsibilities vary according to specific site and contract needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Includes but is not limited to the following, as additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned:



  • Customer Service & Professionalism: Provide a courteous and professional relationship with all customers, vendors, subordinates, co-workers, and managers ("Treat others as you would want to be treated").
  • Contract & Compliance: Meet and exceed all terms and conditions of contract(s) for the location(s).
  • Personnel Support:

    • Properly train associates in customer service, operational procedures, time card completion, and on-the-job safety.


  • Field Audits & Revenue Collection: Conduct field audits of associates to ensure that revenue collection procedures are followed and that revenue is accurately accounted for.
  • Safety & Standards:

    • Ensure the operation meets all OSHA and safety standards and complies with company safety procedures.
    • Ensure that locations maintain the proper cleanliness, signage, safety, and compliance with pertinent parking regulations by regular monitoring and taking prompt corrective action.


  • Financial Processing:

    • Process accounts payables and receivables within established guidelines.
    • Manage expenses and cash flow to minimize "loss" stations.


  • Client & Landlord Relations:

    • Nourish the client/customer base by establishing and maintaining consistent communication with landlords and/or property managers.
    • Create, implement and maintain strategies for maximization of profitability of assigned location(s).
    • Actively market for growth.


  • Transportation & Appearance:


  • Ensure reliable transportation to/from work location including fuel, maintenance, repairs, and insurance.
  • Maintain a clean, neat, professional appearance at all times; wear the designated uniform (if required) and display your identification badge while on duty.


Supervisory Responsibilities:

Directly supervise one or more employees. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these employees. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Handle performance documentation, pay adjustments, transfers, promotions, while fostering a cooperative working environment to maximize morale, productivity, and efficiency/effectiveness.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:



  • Education/Experience:

    • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
    • At least two to three years of related experience or training with increasing responsibility; an equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.


  • Language Ability:

    • Able to read, write, and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
    • Able to effectively communicate in one-on-one and small group situations.




  • Mathematical Ability: Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers.
  • Reasoning Ability: Able to apply common sense when performing duties and following written and oral instructions.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient with computer applications, particularly the Microsoft Office Suite (including word processing, data entry, and spreadsheets).


Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Current valid state driver's license and proof of insurance.
