Responsibilities

  • TheDialysisShift Supervisor is a Registered Nurse who is accountable for coordination of all care for a specific patient population on an assigned shift,in accordance withthe Nurse Practice Act and the policies and procedures ofBaptist St. Anthony's.
  • The Shift Supervisor also has managerial responsibilities including, but not limited to, staffing, scheduling, employment development, budget, and performance improvement activities.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • High School (or GED equivalent) diploma.
  • Graduate of accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current License to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Texas.
  • American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support Certification.

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Prior supervisory experience in clinical specialty.
  • Previous experience providing nursing care to patients on acute dialysis.
  • Demonstrates leadership and management skills in a healthcare environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
