Position Title: Production-Metals
Wage: $15.50 per hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am-4:30pm QPS Employment Group has a great Production-Metals position available at a company in West Burlington, IA. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire. Production-Metals Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Complete assembly of products according to work orders. - Perform assembly functions using hand tools and power tools. - Fasten parts together using bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners. - Brush-paint products when required by work orders. - Work at different workstations as production needs change. - Grind product pieces as necessary. - Identify parts used on the assigned product line and understand proper placement on the finished product. - Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area. - Use pallet jacks to move products throughout the facility. Production-Metals Requirements: - Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively throughout the shift. - Ability to stand for a 10-hour shift. - Ability to work in a hot environment. - Ability to work effectively with others. - Basic skills in using handheld power tools and measurement devices. - Ability to communicate clearly-both verbally and in writing-with coworkers and supervisors. - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced production environment.
