Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate degree or technical degree in Business, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation, manufacturing data, and production requirements.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, manufacturing operations, or a related field.
- Experience utilizing ERP/MRP systems in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word, including data entry, reporting, and document management.
- Experience managing bills of materials (BOMs), work orders, and production schedules preferred.

- Ability to review technical documents, reports, and production schedules with accuracy.
- Must be able to meet attendance and scheduling requirements.
Job Duties
- Develop and maintain production schedules using ERP systems and Excel to support manufacturing operations and customer requirements.
- Determine material and part requirements based on customer orders, engineering specifications, and ERP data.
- Monitor production performance and report schedule attainment metrics.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to efficiently manage production capacity, labor resources, and workflow priorities.
- Assign manufacturing lead times, due dates, and routing information for released and special-order jobs.
- Investigate and resolve supplier, inventory, and production discrepancies that impact scheduling.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to planning, scheduling, and reporting processes.
- Participate in project reviews, milestone meetings, and new product introduction activities.
- Create, maintain, and validate master bills of materials (BOMs) and work-order BOMs for accuracy.
- Verify BOMs against engineering documentation and drawings.
- Prepare production documentation packages, including drawings, routers, travelers, instructions, and completion schedules.
- Maintain awareness of active projects, manufacturing workload, customer demand, and production capabilities.
