TheSenior Financial Systems Integration Analystis responsible for supporting the design, implementation, integration, conversion, testing, optimization, and ongoing support ofWorkday Financials, Epic Resolute, and other financial, revenue cycle, and enterprise applications. This role serves as a key liaison between Finance, Revenue Cycle, IT, Data/Analytics, and implementation partners to ensure financial systems, data flows, integrations, conversions, reporting, and business processes are accurate, efficient, controlled, and aligned with organizational objectives. The ideal candidate possesses strong knowledge ofhealthcare finance, ERP and financial systems, revenue cycle operations, financial reporting, data conversion, system integration methodologies, and financial data management. This role requires the ability to translate business and financial requirements into effective system solutions and to work across multiple applications and technical environments. Key Responsibilities
Partner with Finance, Revenue Cycle, IT, Data/Analytics, and implementation teams to supportWorkday Financials implementation, Epic Resolute integration, system enhancements, upgrades, and other enterprise financial system initiatives. Analyze current financial, revenue cycle, and operational workflows and recommend process improvements utilizing Workday, Epic, and other system capabilities. Support thedesign, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of system integrations and interfacesbetween Workday Financials, Epic Resolute, and other internal and external applications. Evaluate end-to-end financial data flows to ensure thecompleteness, accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of dataacross source systems, interfaces, financial applications, and reporting platforms. Support the integration and accurate flow of financial and operational data, including:
Patient revenue and charges General Ledger transactions Accounts Receivable Cash Management and cash receipts Cost Centers and organizational structures Revenue and expense data Payer and reimbursement information Payroll and other financial data Statistical and operational data supporting financial reporting
Participate indata conversion and migration activities, including data mapping, transformation, validation, reconciliation, exception analysis, and conversion testing. Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies and test scripts, including:
Validate financial data conversions, integrations, reconciliations, and downstream reporting to ensure accurate results between legacy and target systems. Performfinancial and system reconciliationsand investigate variances, discrepancies, data exceptions, and out-of-balance conditions. Support the development, validation, and optimization offinancial reports, dashboards, interfaces, extracts, and analytical solutionsused by Finance, Revenue Cycle, and operational leadership. Translate financial and reporting requirements into functional specifications, report requirements, data mappings, interface requirements, and system configurations. Partner with Finance and Accounting teams to supportmonth-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including validation of system-generated transactions, reconciliations, reporting, and issue resolution. Assist with the design and implementation offinancial controls, data validation processes, audit requirements, and system controlsthat support financial accuracy and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with interface and technical teams totroubleshoot integration failures, data issues, conversion defects, reporting discrepancies, and production incidentsand drive issues through resolution. Analyze system and financial data to identify trends, root causes, process gaps, and opportunities for automation and operational improvement. Supportsystem upgrades, enhancements, new functionality, application integrations, and optimization initiativesacross the financial and revenue cycle technology environment. Coordinate with vendors and implementation partners to define requirements, review solutions, validate deliverables, and resolve functional and technical issues. Participate in requirements gathering, business process analysis, solution design, configuration review, andend-to-end impact assessmentsfor system changes. Develop and maintain business requirements, workflow diagrams, data-flow diagrams, functional specifications, interface documentation, test plans, reconciliation procedures, and standard operating procedures. Establish and maintain documentation fordata mappings, integration dependencies, conversion rules, reporting logic, and financial system processes. Support training, knowledge transfer, and change management activities for Finance, Revenue Cycle, and other business users. Monitor post-go-live system performance, data quality, integrations, reporting, and financial processes; identify issues and recommend enhancements. Participate in incident management and production support activities, includingproblem management, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement. Ensure appropriate coordination and communication across Finance, Revenue Cycle, IT, Data/Analytics, and other stakeholders for system changes and financial technology initiatives. Perform other relatedfinancial systems, integration, conversion, reporting, data management, and process improvement activitiesas required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelor's degree required. Experience: 7+ years of professional experience in an academic medical center or integrated healthcare system. Licensure: None, unless as required by position as specified. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
The pay range for this role is $95,019.00 - $190,038.00 annually. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
